HO CHI MINH CITY, VIETNAM – OCTOBER 4, 2025 32-year-old woman was fatally stabbed in front of her home in the Tam Thắng neighborhood. She was returning from her job at a bar when a 20-year-old man ran up to her and delivered a single fatal stab wound to her chest. She collapsed on the sidewalk and died before emergency services arrived.

The perpetrator fled the scene but apparently felt guilty and turned himself in to the police the next day. Based on his statement, it was found that the two had been in a romantic relationship in the past, which had ended. He was unable to come to terms with it and was driven by jealousy.
