INDIA Indian man apparently confused marriage with slavery. His pathological ego and jealousy could not tolerate that his wife went out with friends and returned home drunk. As punishment, he tied her to an improvised pillory and whipped her painfully.
Fortunately, the incident had a positive outcome. The video that was recorded served as evidence in court against him, and he had to face justice – and very likely the end of the marriage as well.
