POSTO DA MATA, BRAZIL – MARCH 26, 2016 36-year-old Laila Pereira was the victim of a motorcycle gang. They opened fire on her near a bar in the Posto da Woods district. She was hit twice in the head and once in the arm. She survived the shooting and fought for her life for several dozen minutes. She died while being transported to the hospital. The perpetrator was never caught.
