PHNOM PENH, CAMBODIA – JULY 3, 2025 Young Cambodian woman riding a scooter lost control when her tire slipped on the wet road surface, causing her to fall. Tragically, she landed directly in the path of an oncoming vehicle and was run over. She died at the scene.
The victim
Riding a motorcycle or scooter in the rain is extremely dangerous and requires extra caution. Ideally, you should avoid riding in such conditions altogether. If you must go out, make sure your tires have good tread and always adjust your speed and lean angles to suit the weather and road conditions.
