GUARULHOS, SÃO PAULO, BRAZIL – FEBRUARY 8, 2023 When a young woman was getting off bus line 552 at the Cecap station in Guarulhos, she lost her balance and fell directly under the bus. The vehicle ran over her leg, causing a fracture and ripping the skin off nearly the entire limb. She was treated by emergency responders and transported to the General Hospital of Guarulhos. Doctors did everything they could to save her leg. However, several days later, they unfortunately had to amputate it.
