MANAUS, BRAZIL, 2016 The 14-year-old girl Iasmim was an innocent and diligent student. She went with her friends to watch the fireworks that were taking place in the city, but unfortunately she was in the wrong place at the wrong time. She was caught in the crossfire of two rival gangs and was hit in the chest.
The wound was very serious. She was still showing some vital signs when she was taken to the hospital, but she was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Her father had a mental breakdown when he heard the news. He had no idea that it was the last time he would see her alive when she left to watch the fireworks.
