IAȘI, ROMANIA – JULY 12, 2024 Iasmina Deloiu, 17, was travelling on a motorcycle with another girl, her friend. In Iași county, on the road between Osoi and Chicerea, they collided head-on with an oncoming vehicle. Iasmina suffered serious injuries and despite the doctors’ best efforts, she was pronounced dead. She fought for long minutes.

Another girl, who was travelling as a passenger on the motorcycle, was seriously injured but her life was saved. Same with the life of the female car driver.
Although Iasmina was a recent owner of a motorcycle licence, the accident was not her fault. It was the fault of the driver of the car who was carelessly overtaking.
