DADAP, JAVA, INDONESIA – MAY 13, 2016 Rahmat Alim, 15, Rahmat Arifin, 23, and Imam Harpiadi, 23, committed the brutal and sadistic rape and murder of their 18-year-old colleague Eno Fariah. They all worked in the same plastics factory, which also provided them with accommodation. They went into the room where the victim was sleeping, brutally raped her and finally, while she was still alive, stuffed a garden hoe into her pussy. She had a 60 cm handle inside. Then they suffocated her with a pillow.

Each of them had different reasons for the murder. The youngest, Rahmat, said he wanted to kill her because she refused to have sex with him. Arifin said the victim often made fun of him and taunted him for being ugly. Imam admitted that he loved Eno, but she never returned his love.
All three were arrested by police just a day later. The public demanded that the perpetrators be given the death penalty. In the end, however, all three were sentenced to life imprisonment.
