The security situation in Nigeria is very unstable. The country is plagued by gang activity and terrorist groups. Some of these gangs have even grown to an international level, such as the notoriously known Black Axe. Economic problems, poverty, and a lack of opportunities push many young people into organized crime – gangs often lure those who have no other prospects.
