BAHIA, BRAZIL – AUGUST 6, 2025 Between the towns of Posto da Mata and Itabatã, a violent head-on collision occurred on the BR-101 highway between a car and a truck. The impact was so strong that it threw the truck to the side and completely demolished the car, along with its driver, 39-year-old Anderson Max Porto Marculino, who died at the scene.
The health condition of the truck driver is unknown. It is also not known what preceded the accident or who caused it. These questions are currently being investigated by the police.
