CRUCITA, MANABÍ, ECUADOR – AUGUST 23, 2025 Armed attack on a vehicle occurred in the La Gilces de Crucita area. Witnesses reported that another vehicle blocked the car’s path, from which masked men armed with military-grade weapons exited and began shooting indiscriminately. All five men inside the vehicle were killed – three in the back seats and two in the front.
