LAMBAYEQUE, PERU – OCTOBER, 2025 Elderly woman became the victim of a traffic accident on Ramón Castilla Street when, for reasons still unknown, she was hit by a garbage truck belonging to the CASA company. The vehicle ran over her left arm, completely crushing it. She remained conscious while lying on the road and was transported to Chiclayo hospital. The doctors there made an extraordinary effort to ensure that her arm did not have to be amputated. The causes of the accident are currently being investigated by the police.
