JAKARTA, INDONESIA – APRIL 14, 2024 Indonesian woman identified as Fitri Meliana decided to take her own life in a desperate act. She hanged herself during a live stream on Instagram, where hundreds of her followers watched helplessly, unable to do anything.
According to the police investigation, the tragedy was triggered by an argument with her girlfriend over missing social media content. Fitri was reportedly very temperamental and emotionally unstable, easily angered by even small things. It was also discovered that before hanging herself, she had attempted to poison herself by drinking cleaning liquid.
