The civil war in Sudan has been ongoing since April 2023. It began with armed clashes between Sudanese government forces and the paramilitary group Rapid Support Forces (RSF). Although the entire war has been marked by violence and war crimes, lately this has been happening more frequently than ever. The RSF has managed to occupy the key Darfur region, where it is currently carrying out purges of the civilian population. For an execution, usually only mere suspicion of collaboration with the enemy is enough.
