GURUGRAM, HARYANA, INDIA – NOVEMBER 22, 2025 Food delivery worker was brutally attacked by 12 masked men. The victim, identified as Abhishek, was struck with axes after the assailants rammed his motorcycle with a car. Doctors reported that he suffered at least 15 deep cuts and his left leg was “virtually severed.” Multiple surgeries are underway to prevent amputation, and Abhishek remains on ventilator support.
The attackers reportedly held a grudge against Abhishek’s younger brother, Ritesh, who had rescued a neighbor from an assault the week before. When they could not find Ritesh, they turned their violence on Abhishek instead. CCTV footage shows the assailants repeatedly striking his left leg with axes even after he fell unconscious. The incident has shocked the local community and highlights the rising violence stemming from personal vendettas.
