Snack bar owner refused to pay protection money

COLOMBIA – DECEMBER 5, 2025 Snack bar owner had long faced threats from a local gang that demanded protection money from him. However, he refused to pay. The gang made an example out of him for all the other vendors to see what would happen if they acted the same way. They sent a hired killer to the scene, who shot both the owner and a random customer.
