MACAPÁ, AMAPÁ, BRAZIL – JANUARY 19, 2026 At the 9th kilometer of the road known as “Linha E,” the body of a young woman was found dumped by the roadside. Clear signs of violent death were visible – investigators later counted three gunshot wounds to the head.
The victim was identified as 19-year-old Tamires França dos Santos. Large bloodstains at the scene suggest she may have been executed there.

The investigation is ongoing, and no further official information has been released. However, evidence increasingly indicates that the murder could be linked to gang activity. Tamires had strong ties to a criminal group; two of her brothers were members. Both were killed in a shootout with the police. Tamires had their names tattooed on her calf.
While her membership in any gang was never confirmed, she consistently chose partners from that environment. Prior to her death, she maintained two active relationships with criminals, one of whom was incarcerated.
