ANNUR, TAMIL NADU, INDIA – MARCH 2, 2026 Senior named Murugasamy became a victim of his own son, Rajasekar, after he decided to legally reclaim property he had gifted him in good faith a year ago.
It all began with a noble gesture – Murugasamy transferred all his wealth to his son with the hope that he would be cared for in his old age. However, Rajasekar betrayed his father’s trust and stopped taking care of the old man. When the father realized his mistake, he turned to the district official with a request to cancel the gift deed. News of this step triggered a fit of insane rage in the son. During a sharp argument, Rajasekar grabbed a stone and crushed his father’s head with it. Police in Annur immediately arrested the attacker and launched a murder investigation.
