AUSTIN, TEXAS, USA – MARCH 1, 2026 At 1:58 AM, 53-year-old Ndiaga Diagne opened fire in front of Buford’s bar on West 6th Street. The attacker first fired a pistol from the window of his SUV, then parked and continued the attack with an AR-15 style assault rifle. The incident resulted in a total of 4 dead (including the attacker, who was shot by police) and 15 injured. The FBI is investigating the act as a potential act of terrorism, as the suspect was wearing clothing with Iranian symbols and the inscription ‘Property of Allah’.
