Punished for stealing father’s gun

BRAZIL Young man stole his father’s police service pistol to film wannabe gangster videos for the social network TikTok. When the father found out, he decided to punish him just like gangsters do. He beat him with a wooden lath across his hands.

Although the punishment may seem educational and justified, it must be noted that the father also bears partial blame. Every gun owner is obligated to secure it against theft and unauthorized use.
