LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA, USA – MARCH 7, 2026 LAPD officers were called to an active robbery at a 7-Eleven located at the corner of Redondo Beach Boulevard and Figueroa Street. When they arrived, the female suspect was behind the counter. Attempts to communicate with her failed, and the situation escalated when she suddenly made a sharp movement and reached for an object resembling a weapon. Officers immediately opened fire. The suspect suffered life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
