SALAYA, GUJARAT, INDIA – APRIL 2, 2025 Man identified as Abdul Aamad Sanghar suffered a heart attack while riding his motorcycle. The entire incident was captured by a security camera.
Another person was riding with him. When Abdul stopped to drop him off and then started riding again, he suddenly felt chest pain. Within moments, he collapsed to the ground. People nearby immediately gathered around him and transported him to the hospital, but unfortunately he was pronounced dead.
The CCTV footage shows that none of those present provided proper first aid. In the case of cardiac arrest, seconds matter, because without blood circulation the brain is not receiving oxygen and begins to suffer irreversible damage within just a few minutes.
It is very likely that Abdul would still be alive if he had received proper first aid. Knowing how to provide it is a skill you only need to learn once and it can last you a lifetime. In most cities around the world, first aid courses are available, and sometimes they are even completely free. Find one near you.
