Elderly woman fell out of moving bus

COIMBATORE, TAMIL NADU, INDIA – MARCH 29, 2026 66-year-old woman, identified as G. Kamachi, died after falling out of a moving bus. The incident occurred at the Iyappan Kovil bus stop on the outskirts of the city. As the bus started moving, she attempted to take a seat, but the driver braked suddenly in the meantime, causing her to lose her balance and fall out through the open doors. She sustained injuries incompatible with life and was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
