Young man died after falling from moving train

BANGLADESH Tragedy happened on the railway line between Kamalganj and Srimangal. A young man identified as Zubair fell from the moving Parabat Express train. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to all available information, Zubair was traveling on the roof of the train. This is a fairly common practice in Bangladesh, especially during major holidays when trains are overcrowded. Sometimes, however, poverty also plays a role, as people try to avoid ticket inspections. Although safety measures exist, their enforcement is very weak.
