VISAKHAPATNAM, ANDHRA PRADESH, INDIA – MARCH 31, 2026 Security camera captured an acid attack on a female insurance company LIC agent. The incident took place at night when the woman was sitting near her house in an area under the Gajuwaka police station.
An attacker with a covered face approached her and threw strong acid on her. He then fled the scene. According to the police statement, the attack was clearly targeted.
The woman suffered severe burns to her face, neck, and arms. However, doctors were able to stabilize her condition. The identity of the attacker and his motive remain unknown.
