CONFRESA, MATO GROSSO, BRAZIL – JANUARY 30, 2025 Security camera in an open bar recorded the brutal murder of a woman. The assailant lunges at her and delivers several knife blows to her neck. She later dies from her injuries. All this takes place while she is holding her 3-year-old daughter in her arms. The other daughter is watching.
The victim has been identified as 29-year-old Regiane Alves da Silva. The killer fled the scene after the attack. He was later caught and identified as 47-year-old Emival Antunes Barbosa, the victim’s husband.
