SÃO JOSÉ DOS CAMPOS, BRAZIL – AUGUST 10, 2019 17-year-old girl named Jamile Fernandes da Silva went missing in. Her lifeless body was discovered two days later. She displayed signs of having been hit on the head with a blunt object, stabbed, and shot. Her family was able to identify her through her distinctive tattoo.

Four individuals are under suspicion for her murder. Two young men, aged 19 and 18, turned themselves in to the police. According to their accounts, they were allegedly captured by a local gang, led by the victim’s uncle, who had reportedly imprisoned and tortured them after the crime. The young perpetrators, however, managed to escape. Based on their statements, the police are currently searching for a 20-year-old man and an 18-year-old girl. All four were last seen with Jamile at a party, where they were expected to have an argument before leaving together in a car.
