AZERBAIJAN Video documents a war crime that took place during the war that broke out between Armenia and Azerbaijan in 2020. Armenian soldiers executed their captive by slitting his throat while he lay immobilized on the ground.
During this war, violations of the Geneva Conventions occurred repeatedly. There are documented cases of attacks on civilian areas, torture and executions of prisoners of war, mutilation of the dead bodies of fallen soldiers, and the use of banned munitions.
