Syrian militants execute random unarmed civilian

SYRIA Armed men of the Islamist group Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), which came to power in the country after the fall of Assad’s regime, execute an unarmed civilian. Although no further information is known about this specific case, HTS has often eliminated civilians suspected of collaborating with the former regime. This is despite the fact that it is currently trying to present itself more as statesmen than as an extremist group.
