ESCUINTLA, GUATEMALA – MAY 4, 2026 In the Cascada 3 area, the body of a woman was found on a slope next to the road. She was partially barefoot and partially dressed – she was wearing only blue pants. She was identified as Yulissa Lemus. Signs of violence were found on her body, which convinced investigators that she had become a victim of murder. At the scene where she was found, someone most likely threw her out of a car. However, no one has been arrested so far. The investigation is still ongoing.
