MINSK, BELARUS – MARCH 24, 2016 A 41-year-old man had an argument with his wife at home. He brutally beat her so badly that she had a concussion and bruises all over her body. The woman realized in time that her life was on the line and devised a plan to save herself. She offered to buy the husband alcohol as a consolation and as an apology. In doing so, she planned to use a trip to the liquor store as a cover to ask someone for help, or at least to attract the attention of passersby.
When they arrived at the liquor store, the husband realized it was a ruse and became so angry that he stabbed his wife in the back with a knife and fled. The woman was rushed to the hospital where doctors fought for her life for 2 days, but she died.
The perpetrator was caught and arrested just 10 minutes after his act. The shocked liquor store clerk testified that she noticed something was wrong with the woman. She was scared and had a lot of bruises on her body. She even stuttered.
