MEXICO – MAY, 2026 Members of the notorious CJNG drug cartel showed no mercy to their enemy. They executed him in one of the most brutal ways – they tore his heart out of his body while he was still alive. After his death, they then cut off his head and opened his abdominal cavity so they could reveal the internal organs.
Such extreme brutality by cartels does not come only from the need for revenge. They usually do it for the psychological effect that the brutality causes. The goal is to intimidate all their enemies.
The incident is a harsh reminder of the reality that hides behind the drug trade and another of many good reasons to say no to drugs. Even as an end user, by buying you have a share in such bloody actions.
