UMM BADR, NORTH KORDOFAN, SUDAN – SEPTEMBER 24, 2026 Video allegedly shows members of Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces (RSF) executing a group of detained civilians. The footage shows people with their hands and legs tied, surrounded by armed men. Gunshots are then heard. A man identified by local media as RSF field commander Ali al-Balla Jabara allegedly mentioned 23 detainees in the video and then ordered their execution.
Some sources report that more than 25 civilians were killed in an RSF attack in Umm Badr. Other sources, however, disputed this version and claimed that the victims were RSF members accused of looting and killing local merchants. The exact number and identities of the victims could not be independently verified.
