ALAGOINHAS, BAHIA, BRAZIL – MAY 21, 2026 In the Urbis 3 district, several armed men broke into a family home during the night, where they murdered a young couple including their toddler. The victims were identified as 24-year-old Géssica Costa Santos, 25-year-old Fábio Lima e Lima, and Lucas Samuel Lima Santos, who was only one month and 5 days old. The horrific scene was witnessed by their other two children aged 5 and 8. The motive of the perpetrators is still unknown and the police are intensively working on the case.
