JERUSALEM, ISRAEL – SEPTEMBER 8, 2025 In the Ramot Junction area, an attack took place on civilians waiting at a bus stop. Two armed men arrived by car at the stop and within a short time began shooting at people at the location as well as at passengers in a bus that had just stopped.
The attack lasted only several dozen seconds, but had very serious consequences. Several people at the scene were killed and dozens more were injured. The attackers were subsequently shot by armed civilians and security forces that were present at the location. The incident was labeled a terrorist attack and fits into a series of similar incidents that occurred in the region in the context of the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
