KHAN YOUNIS, GAZA STRIP, PALESTINE – OCTOBER 25, 2024 At least 14 children were killed during an Israeli airstrike on the city of Khan Younis in the Gaza Strip, with local sources reporting that 13 of them were from the same family. The attack occurred during Israeli airstrikes targeting the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
According to Palestinian health authorities, civilians made up the majority of the victims. Local media reported that most of the children killed belonged to the Al-Farra family, whose members were inside a residential building that was hit during the attack.
After the airstrike, rescuers and residents arrived at the scene, searching through the rubble of destroyed homes and recovering victims. The incident sparked strong reactions due to the high number of children killed.
