In one of the apartments, the body of a lonely woman of Asian origin was found, who, according to all indications, died under violent circumstances. At the crime scene, there were signs of a struggle, and the overall situation suggested that the incident occurred directly in her apartment.
Investigators noticed a number of injuries in the head and neck area. On the neck, there were visible marks consistent with finger pressure, as well as abrasions and bruises, which may indicate that she was attacked at close range. Additional injuries on the forehead and around the nose showed repeated blows, most likely fists.
On the victim’s body, signs were also found that may be related to an attempt to silence her, such as injuries to the lips caused by strong pressure on the mouth. The overall nature of the injuries suggested that she may have been partially strangled during the attack so that she could not call for help.
Police are investigating the incident as a violent criminal act and are trying, based on traces at the scene and forensic analyses, to determine the exact course of the attack and the identity of the perpetrator.
