EL VIGÍA, MÉRIDA STATE, VENEZUELA – JUNE 7, 2026 Sixty-three-year-old Alfonso Ramos Prado was found dead in his home in the Venezuelan city of El Vigía. The man owned a grocery store and butcher shop called Comercializadora Don Alfonso, and he lived directly in the same building as his business.
According to all available information and CCTV footage, he committed suicide using a butcher’s band saw. He appears to have deliberately placed his head into it. He suffered severe brain injuries and died within just a few moments.
