MONTE CRISTI, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC – MARCH 23, 2026 26-year-old Duany Enmanuel Reyes was fatally stabbed by his ex-girlfriend. He was spending time with friends at the Coco Loco recreational center, located in the Hatico sector. She attacked him without hesitation and inflicted several stab wounds. Then she fled the crime scene. The suspect was identified as 19-year-old Esterlin Delgado, nicknamed “La Chona.”

Duany was transported to the Luis L. Bogaert regional hospital, where he had to undergo surgery due to serious injuries. However, doctors were unable to stabilize him and he later died in the hospital from his injuries.
