BELO HORIZONTE, MINAS GERAIS, BRAZIL – MARCH 4, 2026 In the Venda Nova neighborhood, on Avenida Vilarinh, a burning shopping cart caught the attention of passersby. Upon closer inspection, they discovered that a charred human body was inside.
When the military police arrived at the scene, the body was still burning. They first had to extinguish the fire in order to begin the investigation. The victim was later identified as a 20-year-old man.
The results of the investigation were never released. Police worked with theories that it was either a deliberate murder, a settling of scores between criminal factions, or a situation involving homeless people.
