NASHIK, MAHARASHTRA, INDIA – APRIL 18, 2026 According to available information, a woman was riding next to a truck when the situation on the wet road due to rain became dangerous. While maneuvering and braking, she lost control of the vehicle, slipped, and fell directly into the area of the rear wheel of a heavy truck. The driver no longer had a chance to react, and a fatal run-over occurred, causing a fatal head injury on the spot.
The accident happened during normal traffic and immediately caused a traffic jam as well as a police response, which closed the scene and began investigating the exact circumstances. Preliminary findings point to a combination of a wet road surface, close riding next to a heavy vehicle, and loss of stability on a two-wheeled vehicle.
