OBRNICE, CZECH REPUBLIC – JULY 6, 2017 Footage that every beginner, as well as experienced driver, should see before getting behind the wheel. Two girls – 21-year-old Nikola Barabášová (driver) and 24-year-old Nikola Vorlová (passenger) streamed their frightened ride, which ended tragically. At high speed, the car crashed into a wooden noise barrier. The driver did not survive the accident.
The girls had fun while they were driving by streaming live on social media. They bragged about going over the speed limit. The female driver was doing practically everything a driver shouldn’t be doing while driving – talking to her grandmother on the phone, not concentrating on driving and being distracted by making herself look good on stream.
At the last second before impact, a bird smeared their windshield. The driver used the wipers, which at 140 km/h (87 mph) was enough to miss a slight bend. The car skidded and crashed into the mentioned anti-noise wall. The female passenger suffered a concussion and minor injuries. The driver was not so lucky. She suffered severe injuries and a piece of wood from the noise barrier made a hole in her throat.
Even after the accident, the phone continued to stream (even though nothing is visible). A casual witness to the accident can be heard comforting the injured female passenger. Later, an air ambulance helicopter can be heard arriving. Finally, the passenger’s father arrives at the scene of the accident.
