MEDIANEIRA, PARANÁ, BRAZIL – JANUARY, 2025 23-year-old student, Stenio Biesdorf Martendal, likely became a victim of a scam known as a “honey trap.” A 45-year-old prostitute, Rosemar Vinck, after sex began blackmailing him, claiming she would report him to the police for rape and demanded more money from him.

Martendal reacted impulsively to the blackmail, grabbed a knife, and stabbed her to death. In an attempt to dispose of her body, he dismembered her and placed the body parts into garbage bags. He also tried to dissolve some parts in a container with sodium hydroxide.
The perpetrator was caught directly at the scene thanks to the victim’s phone. Police tracked him using the mobile signal to his apartment in the Condá district after the victim’s friends reported her missing. The man confessed to the murder.
