UKRAINE Ukrainian soldier records from inside a trench when a mortar round suddenly lands nearby. The blast severely tears apart the arm of one of his comrades, leaving it almost completely severed at the elbow and attached only by a small amount of tissue.
The other soldiers immediately rush to help, applying an improvised tourniquet to stop the severe bleeding. The footage captures the chaotic moments immediately after the blast as the wounded soldier receives emergency first aid inside the trench.
