ARGENTINA Mentally ill man suffered a psychotic episode during which he attacked his parents. He stabbed his father to death and took his mother hostage. During this, the police and television crews arrived at the scene, broadcasting the situation live. As a result, thousands of television viewers witnessed his suicide. He first attempted to slit his throat with a large knife. He then climbed onto the roof of the house and jumped down. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
