KAZEROUN, IRAN – OCTOBER 25, 2024 Imam Mohammad Sabahi, the supreme spiritual leader of the southern Iranian province of Kazeroun, was assassinated on Friday after a traditional prayer outside a mosque. The video shows his attacker running up to him, shooting him in the head and then shooting himself. It is unlikely that the attack was politically or religiously motivated, but the motive was a personal dispute.
