ARAÇOIABA, CEARÁ, BRAZIL – DECEMBER, 2020 19-year-old Daniel de Souza Felisío was playing soccer when armed gang members stormed onto the field and kidnapped him right in the middle of the match. Daniel’s family immediately contacted the police, who launched a search for him. Later, two shocking videos reached the police – in the first one, Daniel was being interrogated by the gang members, and in the second, he was executed with multiple stab wounds to the neck.

A later investigation showed that Daniel had been displaying gang symbols (it is not known how). Although it was never proven that he was a member of the gang, rival gang members considered it sufficient reason to end his life.
The incident is a grim reminder of the danger posed by gangs, drug cartels, and similar criminal organizations. Human life has almost no value to these people. Always stay as far away from them as possible, do not establish any contact with them, and do not use or promote any of their symbols in any way.
