Candy shop worker fatally shot by hitman

MANABI, ECUADOR – AUGUST 21, 2026 Employee of Coco Manaba candy shop became the target of a shooter who, according to available information, posed as an ordinary customer. The attacker then pulled out a gun and fired several shots at the employee. The man suffered gunshot wounds and succumbed to them. The perpetrator then fled the scene. Further circumstances surrounding the murder, as well as the perpetrator’s motive, remain unknown at this time. Ecuadorian authorities are investigating the case.
