NAGAON, ASSAM, INDIA – AUGUST 27, 2026 Dr. Sahin Rahman, a 47-year-old associate professor at Nagaon Medical College and Hospital, suddenly collapsed during an evening workout at a gym. The incident occurred in the Dimoruguri area, and the entire moment was captured by a security camera.
Rahman suddenly lost consciousness while exercising at around 7:36 p.m. People at the gym attempted to help him, and he was subsequently taken for medical treatment, but doctors were unable to save him.
According to police, a preliminary examination indicated cardiac arrest, but the exact cause of death has not yet been officially confirmed, and the results of the autopsy are still awaited. Some sources additionally list his age as 50 and his name as Shahin Ahmed, while several current media reports identify him as Dr. Sahin Rahman, aged 47.
