RIOHACHA, LA GUAJIRA, COLOMBIA – SEPTEMBER, 2026 Rosa Angélica Tarazona, known by the nickname “La Bebecita,” died during a police operation at a house in the Los Olivos neighborhood. According to several Colombian media outlets, she was 20 years old. Her partner, Naín Andrés Pérez Toncel, alias “Bendito Menor,” also died with her. Authorities identified him as one of the leaders of the Autodefensas Conquistadoras de la Sierra Nevada (ACSN).

Just a few hours before the operation, Tarazona participated in a court hearing via video call. As part of the case, she accepted responsibility for participating in a criminal conspiracy and had reached an agreement with prosecutors that called for a 36-month sentence. According to local media, she was linked to the ACSN and was reportedly involved, among other things, in managing the organization’s finances.
After the operation, videos began circulating on social media that allegedly show the bodies of Tarazona and Pérez Toncel in a morgue after the autopsy. However, Colombia’s Institute of Forensic Medicine stated that the footage was not recorded at its facilities and was not taken by its employees or associates. The origin and authenticity of the videos therefore remain unverified.
The ACSN, also known as Los Pachenca, is an armed criminal group operating primarily along Colombia’s Caribbean coast. Its activities include drug trafficking, extortion, and territorial control.
